It’s just the promises he made to get elected, doesn’t mean he can pull off any of it.
He’s conned people before, looks like another con to me.

Congressional term limit looks good, and expanding tech and vocational education options is always good. The semi-freeze of hiring government workers makes sense from a tax and liability standpoint, especially if leveraging private-public partnerships. Combining childcare and eldercare from a tax and incentive program standpoint makes a lot of sense given the aging population, and trying to cut the red tape for potentially life-saving drugs seems like it could be a very good idea. It’s interesting how valid some of these ideas are. Maybe he’s not completely crazy.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has already thrown cold water on the term limits.....

Of course he’s against it. That’s like asking Koch Industries if they’re against Citizens United. Career politicians turn corrupt.

Excellent, now I have a failure checklist.
I didn’t see building a giant wall on the borders in that list though.

Building a wall takes time.

Are you trying to tell me Trump can’t build a wall in 100 days? Why’d we elect this creep again?

There is so much fucked up about those plans. Does he realize how much damage will be done to our economy if he pulls out of all those trade agreements?

Yeah, Congressional term limit is good.
Expanding tech and vocational education (and building a big ass wall) is hard when you freeze government worker hiring.
Cutting the red tape is also good, but that sounds a bit wishy washy.
But I guess none of that really matters when we are all under the melted ice caps.

It is there, towards the bottom. It states that we will fully fund the construction of a wall with the expectation that Mexico will reimburse us. Damn his head is so far up his ass he can see his teeth.

It appears his plan is to contract infrastructure work to the private sector. Good from a liability standpoint, but difficult to make happen.
No idea what he means about cutting the red tape, but it’s good that he’s at least thought about it.

Cutting the red tape basically means he wants to try to take the FDA out of the drug approval program. Going to lead to some serious issues with side effects and possibly some deaths.

If it’s that poorly thought through, it won’t end that well. However, if turnaround time is reduced, resources more focused, and extraneous testing dealt with, it could actually work out...good?

I can approve of putting something in place that shuffles drugs which could help serious illnesses to the top of the priority list. Eliminating the process which is in place seems a bit risky to me.

If he’s going to overhaul the tax code for his buddies, the least he could do is install a “fuck you, I’m not paying for that” clause. Divide the cost of the wall by the number of taxpayers and subtract that from your bill.

I should really check my government’s manifesto. All I know is that we’re getting some new nukes, the Chinese are funding a new Nuclear reactor and that West Ham got a new stadium virtually rent free. Hopefully there is more to it like making our trains and internet suck a whole lot less.

But then you see these:
a requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated
You want a new regulation? Ok, time to spin the Wheel of Regulations to see which other two we’re going to lose!
Enacts new ethics reforms to Drain the Swamp and reduce the corrupting influence of special interests on our politics.
You mean, make new regulations? Looks like we’re going to lose a lot of other regulations while we drain the swamp. That Wheel of Regulations will be busy!
begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won’t take them back
We’re going to round up illegal immigrants, and tell the countries they came from that if they don’t take their people back, we’ll prevent anyone else from those countries from getting a visa to come to America? Because making it harder to legally visit the US will surely discourage people from coming here illegally.
Suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.
How do you extremely vet someone, exactly? “Do you extremely promise to not do terrorism?”
Repeal and Replace Obamacare Act. Fully repeals Obamacare and replaces it with Health Savings Accounts, the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines, and lets states manage Medicaid funds.
How is someone who can only afford healthcare through a subsidized Obamacare plan suddenly going to put enough money into a health savings account to be anything resembling useful?
End Illegal Immigration Act Fully-funds the construction of a wall on our southern border with the full understanding that the country Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such wall
I’m sure Mexico will agree to that right away. We just have to give up our two favorite Mexican foods in return. Please let us keep the tamales!

I just hope he helps out states like West Virginia. These people have waited and waited for somebody to help them and a lot of good people are putting their faith in Trump and putting aside his flaws.
I really hope something good can come out of this.

Although leaving the TPP will undoubtedly damage the economy of many of the participating countries (including the USA), that partnership was a bad thing for both European Nation and the BRICS countries, especially for countries like Brazil and China. The US, by far the most important country in the partnership, leaving, sucks for countries like Vietnam and Peru though.
